Weddings
Weddings are where storytelling, emotion and authentic moments come together — it's the reason I picked up a camera in the first place. My approach is documentary-led: I don't stage or over-direct, I stay close enough to catch the moments that happen when no one's watching the camera. First-look nerves, a parent's reaction, the walk down the aisle, the last dance. One recent wedding took me from a ceremony in Newark, Nottinghamshire, to a reception in North Hykeham, Lincolnshire — I'll travel wherever your day takes us. Based in Lincoln, I photograph weddings across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and further afield, working around your day rather than the other way round. Every gallery is edited to feel honest and true to how the day actually looked and felt — not over-processed, not overly posed.
Family, Couples & Maternity
Family photography should feel like your family, not everyone lined up and smiling on command in front of a backdrop. Whether it's a couple's shoot, a full family session, or documenting a pregnancy before your baby arrives, my focus is on real connection — the in-between moments, the laughing-because-someone-tripped moments, the quiet ones too. Sessions are relaxed and led by you: at home, outdoors around Lincoln and Lincolnshire, or somewhere that means something to you. I bring the same documentary approach here as I do to weddings — natural light, minimal direction, and images that hold up because they're honest.
Events
From local festivals and markets to community celebrations and live events, I focus on documenting the atmosphere, people and moments that make each event unique. My approach is unobtrusive and documentary-led — capturing the day as it naturally unfolds rather than staging it. I've covered events including the Lincoln Festival of History and Ye Olde Wytches Market at the historic Tudor Hall, part of the National Civil War Centre in Newark-on-Trent, working closely with organisers and traders to deliver galleries that capture both the scale of an event and its smaller, human moments.
